His Excellency Norodom Ithipong "Teland" La (Khmer: ព្រះអង្គម្ចាស់ តេជោ, American: Teland La) is the Prince of Cambodia, who was born on November 17, 2002 in Cambodia. Prince Ithipong La was born in Phnom Penh in 2002. In 2005, his family moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, where he was raised under the name "Teland La" to avoid scrutiny, however, his status was revealed in 2014. He was a member of Coro, an American non-profit organization best known for its fellowship program dedicated to teaching skills useful in leadership in public affairs to young adults. His Coro page lists him as passionate about technology. According to his LinkedIn profile, he attends Stanford University in California.
Prince Ithipong La's mother, Norodom Moniren worked in high-end boutiques in London and Paris. She is the daughter of an Italian couple in France, and spent her formative years in London, working for iconic French fashion designer Joseph Ettedgu, known on the scene simply as “Joseph”. She rose to become a director of 10 shops in Paris, before pairing up with Cambodian Princess Sita as a business partner.
